Boxing Promoter Oscar De La Hoya says, "Everything was already negotiated but unfortunately Miguel Cotto didn't want the fight (vs. Saul Canelo Alvarez)." And, "I don't even know how many times he (Cotto) said "No", but it is the fight the public wants to see."

I've been enjoying a lot of the hard and excellent work being conducted by FightHype, and this video interview is no exception. In this video Q&A, it's boxing promoter Oscar De La Hoya. Like myself, I am sure you'll enjoy this one.

More description: Boxing promoter Oscar De La Hoya states: "Miguel Cotto didn't want to fight. I'm going to San Diego tomorrow to talk to him...we are gonna talk about the next move. Canelo is ready. He's preparing for May 2nd...that would be a tremendous clash...that will be a great fight, but first Canelo has various options." Plus De La Hoya talks about a potential clash between "Canelo" Alvarez and James Kirkland.

This video interview conducted by FightHype with Oscar De La Hoya features transcrbed words on the video (translation from Spanish to English). The video has a run time of 1min and 48secs.
