Serious Car Accident sidelines ex Champ for 8 months

Former IBO world champion and recent WBC title challenger Mhikiza Myekeni is out of action for at least eight months after being involved in a car wreck in East London..
A truck crashed into Myekeni's car in December. At the time of the accident, Myekeni was running errands.
Still recovering at home from the accident, Myekeni said: "I was rushing to buy some stuff for the ceremony when a truck
rammed into my car."
"I felt my leg going loose as it had been cut off and after that I blacked out." Myekeni was rushed to the Hospital and ended up staying for a month in the intensive care unit.
"The doctors told me that I could be back in training in eight months but right now I am still using crutches to walk," he said.
