Although officially retired from boxing and already missed by many fans, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is still entertaining his supporters. Mayweather Jr. who seems to like being referred to as an entertainer (rather than a Boxer), will be putting on an event next weekend for his hometown, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The 4th of July weekend event which is sponsored by the Floyd Mayweather Foundation and will last three days, will include events to mark Mayweather`s retirement from boxing.

Quoted recently by the Grand Rapids Press, Mayweather Jr. in regards to his event, stated: "It will be a few days of fun and remembrance. I want to come back to the city where I'm from and give back."
