I heard during the press confrence someone asked how were the Pay-per-view buys and Bob Arum just said it did way above the Joshua Clottey fight, he didn't want Mark Taffet (HBO) to answer.

Someone was whispering near the camera and you can hear them saying it did 100,000 more buys than Clottey vs Pacquiao, way less than expected.

That is pretty low, but I think it was because they only hyped the fight up the week before the fight. When Floyd Mayweather fights he has billboards everywhere and radio ads and commercials, I didn't see any posters, billboards or commercials for Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito till the week of the fight.

Also the seats sold were like 41 thousand way lower than the 60 thousand Arum predicted.

This gonna hurt Pacquiao's negotiation with Mayweather. His popularity is seriously over exaggerated by the HBO guys like Jim Lampley, Larry Merchant, Manny Steward and Max Kellerman.
