York Hall, London - Ringside Report. On Saturday night, Hackney's Matthew Chanda impressed with a two round TKO of awkward Bulgarian Slayvea Stefanov. Chanda (9st 1lbs) immediately took the centre of the ring as he attempted to get in close to the taller Stefanov (8st 12 ½ lbs).

Chanda looked to work the body while avoiding the sporadic uppercuts being thrown by Stefanov. One right hook downstairs and and a looping right to the head being the notable successes of the first round for the Zambian born Londoner.

Chanda continued with the body attack in the 2nd round and a well timed right hook under Stefanov's ribs, dropped him to the canvas. There were only a few seconds left in the round so the bell saved Stefanov from taking another.

The Bulgarian retired on his stool citing an elbow injury but it seemed obvious it was the body shot that did for him. Chanda moves to 5-0 with this being his 2nd stoppage victory.

Under card action:
Elsewhere on the card the popular Upton brothers both recorded wins. Paul bested Zoltan Turai 80-73 over 8 rounds at light middle and Sonny outpointed Ryan Toms over 10 rounds in a british title eliminator at the same weight.
