The Feb. 4th card at the Alamodoe in San Antonio, Texas featuring Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. defending his WBC middleweight title against JC Rubio is on pace to draw well over 10,000 patrons, I’m told.

Say what you will about him, but Junior is a draw and those are important to the sport and business of boxing.
