Just in talking to some people (yesterday), I get the
distinct feeling that jr. welterweight champion Tim Bradley is now in
the lead to face Manny Pacquiao on June 9th, with Miguel Cotto making it
crystal clear he will not move down to 147-pounds for a rematch.
Honestly, I have no problems with this fight, like I said earlier this
week, I want fresh, new match-ups on the horizon.
As for Cotto, well,
Floyd Mayweather seems to be natural, but unlike the likes of Victor
Ortiz, Cotto commands a price tag of well over $2.5 million. That might
be an issue.
- Speaking of which, Brandon Rios is now slated to go on April 14th
at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas and the focus is on trying to bring
Yuriorkis Gamboa to the dance. Top Rank is trying to seal this deal as
we speak. .
