Donaire on July 21st?

The plan for the past few months was to have WBO jr. featherweight belt-holder, Nonito Donaire to take part on Top Rank’s pay-per-view card that was to be headlined by Juan Manuel Marquez in Dallas, Texas on July 14th. But now the plan is for him to fight the week after on his own card, according to Bob Arum, who tells me that’s what they would like to do but far from finalized.

As for who would televise it, Arum says it would go to the network that will carry the July 14th pay-per-view show.

- Golden Boy Promotions announced that an extra 1,300 tickets will be released for the April 28th rematch between WBC lt. heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins and Chad Dawson at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. So there is actually a ticket demand for this fight?!?!
