A New Twist to Paul Williams - Kermit Cintron

On Monday afternoon, this blog entry was published by Lance Pugmire of the LA Times: http://latimesblogs. Which basically refutes everything stated by Kermit Cintron and his promoter Lou DiBella, in the aftermath of the bizzare and controversial ending to his fight against Paul Williams this last weekend at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA.

I’ve said from the time I finally saw the HBO replay on Sunday night, while I’m not going to question if Cintron was feigning an injury, I just can’t help but think that it looks for all the world that he basically leapt out of the ring with full understanding of where he was.

Dr. Wallace’s comments were pretty damning. While DiBella and Cintron’s attorney, Josh Dubin, have stated that they will push to have this fight reversed to a ’no-contest’, you wonder if this fight could be changed to a TKO, now.
