Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez a Thaw in the Cold War?

Earlier this week, Lance Pugmire of the L.A.
Times tweeted (@latimespugmire) in the aftermath of Juan
Manuel Marquez accepting the terms to face Manny Pacquiao a third time:
"Arum said he met with Golden Boy's
Richard Schaefer Monday, ended with "burst of goodwill and
handshakes," expects to work with GB again."
Could it be?! A thaw in the “Cold War” between the
two promotional powerhouses?
When I saw Arum on Wednesday afternoon at the
media day for Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the Wild Card Boxing
Club in Hollywood (and imagine that; real promoters who actually still try and,
y' know, promote their fighters and not just pocket HBO welfare checks), he told me, "Well, we had a
mediation meeting- I can't say what happened there because it's confidential- but
after the meeting, Schaefer and I met, shook hands and said that bygones would
be bygones and we would end up working together."
For the sake of boxing, let's hope so.
