My prediction is a lot of violence. I can see either man winning by late knockout but if i had to pick, I'm going with the underdog. I like Miguel Cotto by close points decision win. Something like 114-113 or 115-112.
I think the key to this fight will be Cotto's jab and body work. I love Manny Pacquiao as a fighter and if he wins this fight, he's a legend. But I think Cotto is the best fighter he's ever faced and also the strongest.
If Cotto was able to survive Mosley's hard rights and brutal body punches, and also survive Clottey's right hands, and also almost survive Margarito's bricks, I think he can handle Pac-Man's power.
I question if Pacquiao can handle Cotto's power. Although I do feel Pacquiao has legitimate power as well and Cotto should be leery of it.
The biggest concern I have about Cotto is his propensity to cut and I wonder about his corner. I wonder if his trainer can handle a fight of this magnitude and make proper adjustments as fight goes on. We'll find out soon enough. I can't wait!
