Both Fernando Vargas and Ricardo Mayorga weighed 164 pounds for their highly anticipated 12-round fight tomorrow/Friday night at STAPLES. After weighing in and posing, the fighters stepped on the stage for a not-so traditional face-off. They were separated only by a sheet of plexiglass, but that did not prevent their war of words from continuing.

On the day after Thanksgiving, Vargas and Mayorga clash in the main event of an eagerly awaited pay-per-view fight card at STAPLES Center that begins at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT and is being distributed by SHOWTIME® PPV. The live card begins at 3:15 p.m. Doors open at 3.
