ROUND 1
Malinga comes out jabbing. Nice left by Cruz. Malinga using his hook
but Cruz is landing his right hand already. Both fighters using high
guards. Cruz showing much faster hands. Nice body shot by Cruz. They
both clinch. Nice one/two by Cruz. Malinga goes back to the jab. Hard
left by Cruz. Double jab by Cruz. Nice left by Malinga. Hard right
lands for Cruz. Looking sharp. Cruz misses a big right. Malinga jabs.
They trade jabs now. Malinga lands an uppercut. Nice combo by Cruz.
Great body work as well. Hard left hook by Cruz.

ROUND 2
Nice body shot by Cruz. Malinga going back to the jab. Nice uppercut
by Malinga but takes some body damage. Hard right by Cruz but Malinga
really using that uppercut now. Cruz misses a huge right. Malinga
slips well. Malinga really trying to land thay uppercut. Cruz does
well to the body again. They trade jabs now. Nice right by Cruz. Hard
body shot again by Cruz. They trade now. Cruz lands a nice left hook.
Hard to the body goes Cruz again. Sitting on that left hook now.
Nice left by Cruz lands upstairs. They trade now. Great action inside.
Both guys landing but Cruz is doing more damage. Nice body shot by
Cruz.

ROUND 3
Cruz comes out and goes right back to the body. Hard left by Cruz.
Blocked by Malinga. Again and again diggung that left hook to the body
is Cruz. Malinga jabbing well but not landing much. They trade hooks
now. Cruz showing more power. Finally a lull in the action. Malinga
reaching with the uppercut. Too far outside though. Cruz just
outboxing him now. Fighting very well. Nice double jab by Cruz. Great
right hand by Cruz. AND ANOTHER. Bombs landing well. Malinga lands
an uppercut. Hard one. Great fight so far. Cruz getting to
oaggressive with a combo. Falls short. Malinga not throwing back
enough.

ROUND 4
Cruz comes out jabbing. They trade jabs now. Great double right hand
down the pipe by Cruz. Malinga backing off now. Hard, chopping right
by Cruz. Malinga misses the uppercut. He really wants to land that
punch. Cruz misses a huge left hook. Both fighters showing good, tight
guards. Malinga takes some damage to the body. Cruz doubling the left
hook to the body and it's really working. Malinga's hands are dropping
a little bit now. Great left hook upstairs by Cruz. Malinga's punches
really not showing much effect on Cruz. Nice one/two by Cruz.
Throwing punches in bunches now. Nice right by Malinga. Showing heart.

Cruz tripling the jab now. Looking great. Malinga eats a hard right.
BIG right hand by Cruz. Over the top. Malinga takes it and keeps
coming. Hard body shot by Cruz. Nice jab by Malinga. Uppercut inside
by Cruz. Great left hook by Cruz. And another. Backs Malinga up.
Malinga trying to use his jab. Malinga not hurting Cruz with anything
though. Nice uppercut by Malinga. Nice jab by Cruz. Right back to the
body as well. Both guys working well inside. Nice one/two by Cruz.
Cruz really using combo's well now. Malinga tries to go to the body.

ROUND 6
Both guys coming out using their jabs. Chopping right by Cruz hurts
Malinga. Malinga trying to find an opening but just not hurting Cruz.
Great 4 punch combo by Cruz. All straight and accurate shots. Malinga
lands a right. Tries to go to the body. Cruz peppering Malinga now.
Nice uppercut by Malinga. Malinga eats a right hand now. More of the
same here. Cruz landing hard to the body. Malinga not taking a
backwards step though. A lot of heart in this man. Nice uppercut now
by Malinga.

ROUND 7
Malinga comes out firing now. Trying hard to turn things around. Nice
body shot by Cruz. Uppercut by Malinga. Hard left hook by Cruz.
Malinga showing stength now. Cruz taking everything easily though.
Cruz lands an overhand right. Hard right by Cruz. Lands flush. Great
uppercut by Malinga. Cruz rocks Malinga with a right. Moves him back.
Getting his guard back up quickly. Double jab by Malinga. Hard right
by Malinga. Great body shot by Cruz hurts Malinga. Another one as
well. Great body work by Cruz. Winning this fight for him. Phone
booth fighting now. Nice left hook by Cruz.

ROUND 8
Double uppercut by Malinga. Cruz peppering him inside though. Great
triple jab byt Cruz. His punch output is insane. Nice one/two by
Malinga. Nice body work by Malinga now. Again and again. Malinga
showing the effects. Cruz bringing the left hook upstairs now and
landing it now. Nice uppercut by Malinga. HARD body shot backs up
Malinga. MALINGS IS HURT!!!!!! BACKING UP NOW!!!!!! Hard right by
Cruz. Malinga firing back. Cruz going to the body over and over again.
Nice right hand lands right on the chin for Cruz. Malinga is one
tough dude. Taking a lot of punishment now though. Nice counter left
hook by Cruz.

ROUND 9
More bombs to the body right away by Cruz. Now landing rights upstairs.
Great fighting by Cruz. The looping right hand lands perfectly.
Uppercut now as well. And back to the body. Malinga trying to use his
uppercut now. Just not landing hard though. The body work has taken
affect. Malinga is slowing down. One/two by Cruz. Malinga not showing
any power right now in his punches. Great left hook lands on the chin
for Cruz. Another one now. Malinga showing toughness. Great body shot
again by Cruz. Malinga tries a left hook but its slow and awkward for
him now. Malinga's legs look heavy now too.

ROUND 10
Cruz staying aggressive now. Keeps going to the body. Testing
Malinga's heart. Nice right by Malinga now. Cruz misses a huge left
hook. Malinga taking so much punishment now. Hard uppercut by Cruz.
Malinga takes it well. One/two by Cruz now. Malinga can't let his
hands go enough now because of defending the body shots. Hand speed
slowing down as well. Inactivity in his career showing now. Cruz
misses a big counter right. Cruz lands a left hook.

ROUND 11
Hard right by Cruz. Malinga lands a left. Little uppercuts inside by
Malinga now. Nice one/two by Cruz. Hard uppercut to the body by Cruz.
Really nice punch. Hard right over the top by Cruz. Malinga coming
forward though. Showing amazing heart. Nice combo to the body by Cruz.
Malinga tries to go to the body now. Nice uppercut by Malinga. Game
fighter. Cruz lands a right. Uppercut by Malinga. He's just too tired
and beat up now though. Nice counter left by Cruz. Hard right lands
for him too. Malinga ties up now. Cruz lands a jab. Malinga lands a
nice left. Hard right by Malinga. The little warrior is trying. They
trade hooks now.

ROUND 12
Both guys coming out swinging. Great fight thus far. Cruz still going
to the body. Hard shots. Malinga going back to the uppercut. Battling
away. Both guys staying busy this fight. Nice double left hook to the
body by Cruz. Hard right hand by Cruz landds right on Malinga's chin.
Great shot. Malinga showing an iron jaw. Right back to the body goes
Cruz. Left hook by Cruz. Cruz just throwing a ton of punches this
fight. Malinga goes back to the uppercut but the shots have nothing on
them. He's taken a beating tonight. Nice body shots again by Cruz.
Hard right upstairs by Cruz now. Great punch and a great performance by
Santa Cruz.
