Jhonny Gonzalez, the W.B.C. featherweight champion has injured his hand whilst training for his highly anticipated rematch with Abner Mares.
Gonzalez posted a picture of his hand on his twitter account.
Gonzalez stated in the tweet that he had finished training and hurt his hand and he hoped that he wouldn’t have to cancel the fight because of the injury.
His fight with Mares was arguably one of the upsets of the year, having knocked out the heavily favoured champion in the first round.
