Mexican super bantamweight Horacio “Violento” Garcia, 25-0-(17), scored a first round stoppage win over Filipino veteran Fernando Lumacad, 29-6-3-(12), at the Complejo Panamericano de Voleibol in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico on Saturday.

The bout came to a premature end Garcia injured Lumacad’s left wrist with an untimely punch leaving Lumacad unable to continue. The win gave Garcia the vacant WBC Continental Americas bantamweight .

In the co main event, former two weight female world champ Yazmin “La Rusita” Rivas scored a clear 10 round unanimous decision over Calixta “Cali” Silgado in a bout for the vacant WBC Silver female super bantamweight title.
