WBA bantamweight champion Anselmo “Chemito” Moreno, 35-2-1-(12), scored a 12 round unanimous decision win over Javier “Chispita” Chacon, 19-2-(4), at the Arena Roberto Duran in Panama City, Panama on Saturday.

Chacon, who came into the fight with less than convincing credentials, was not surprisingly no match for the established champion. Moreno decked Chacon twice in round two before securing a near shutout 118-108, 117-108, 117-109 points win.
