By Mike Sloan ringside in Las Vegas: In his official professional debut, two-time Olympic gold medalist Vasyl Lomachenko looked terrific in scoring a fourth round knockout of Jose Ramirez. Lomachenko dropped the veteran with a body shot in the first and then again in the fourth, the latter ending the featherweight fight. Ramirez (25-3, 15) was counted out at the 2:59 mark.

Light heavyweight contender Sean Monaghan (19-0, 12 KOs) scored an impressive third round TKO over Anthony Smith (14-2, 10 KOs). After a measured start Monaghan boxed well and poured on the offense in the third, landing a furious flurry against the ropes until referee Tony Weeks stopped it at the 2:39 mark

Also on the card:

Featherweight contender Jun Doliguez (17-0-2, 13 KOs) scored a sixth round TKO over Giovanni Caro (24-14-4, 19 KOs); Mikael Zewski (21-0, 16 KOs) scored a TKO over Alberto Herrera (9-10-1, 5 KOs) when Herrera couldn’t continue after five rounds; light heavyweight prospect Trevor McCumby (13-0, 10 KOs) won a unanimous six round decision over Eric Watkins (10-5-1, 5 KOs) in a fight that saw both men on the canvas; welterweight Brad Solomon (21-0, 8 KOs) won a unanimous eight round decision over Kenny Abril (14-7-1, 7 KOs).
