Boxing Promoter Bob Arum believes a multi million dollar clash between Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd 'Money' Mayweather Jr. can still happen as long as ‘Pac Man’ looks good in defeating Brandon Rios when the pair clash in Macau, China Tonight.
Arum is in Macau for the big fight and when asked if Pacquiao could eventually face 'Money' Mayweather Jr. in a multi million pound blockbuster Arum said: "On our side the answer is yes, we’re very open to it."
‘There are ways it can get done, they have to dumb down the rhetoric – we are prepared to dumb down the rhetoric and get it done. There is no real impediment to having that fight happen, whether it will or not depends completely on the Mayweather side. I can see it happening but I can’t predict that it will happen again. It takes two to tango.’
However, any possible ‘Super Fight’ will have to take place in late 2014 as it looks like (according to loose reports / rumors) Mayweather will fight Britain’s Amir Khan in May.
