Scott Quigg defends his title in sensational style

Scott Quigg defended his WBA Super Bantamweight title in sensational style stopping Argentine challenger Diego Oscar Silva in the 2nd round.

In round 1, Quigg controlled the tempo, putting pressure on Diego Silva and landed some nice body shots when the Argentine was backed up on the ropes.

Quigg dropped Silva in the second with a picture perfect right uppercut following a crisp body shot.

In a follow up barrage that included a series of uppercuts, Quigg staggered the challenger and then dropped Silva heavily with a right hand.

With the win Quigg retains the WBA Super Bantamweight title and remains unbeaten with a record of 27 wins 0 losses with 20 ko’s. Silva drops to 29-3-4.
