WBO super flyweight champ Omar Narvaez, 41-1-2-(22),successfully defended his title for the ninth time defeating David Carmona, 16-2-4-(8), at the Villa La Nata Sporting Club in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Carmona’s cornerman threw in the towel in the seventh round after the challenger was on the wrong end of a battering. Narvaez decked Carmona in the sixth round after aggressively pursuing his pray from the opening bell. The challenger beat the count but the end was inevitable.
On the undercard Leandro David Esperantew defeated Julian Evaristo Aristule over 12 rounds in a bout for the WBO Latino super bantamweight title.
