SecondsOut.com - WBC light middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez said that he
has to be very careful on when he faces Josesito Lopez on September 15
in Las Vegas, because Lopez is a very powerful rival.
“He surprised me, the truth is I never thought he was going to be
such a powerful fighter, I have never seen him fight but during his bout
against Ortiz, I was amazed by his power” Alvarez said.
“He has good technique, he’s skillful but receives a lot of punches,
but he knows how to move, for what I’ve seen he’s very experienced and
he will be a tough rival. His punch will be his best weapon, he has
great power as we all saw, he broke Ortiz’ jaw, so I have to be careful.
