Promoter Top Rank has won the purse bid to stage the WBC light middleweight title eliminator between Vanes Martirosyan vs. Erislandy Lara.

Top Rank bid $405,000 as opposed to Golden Boy Promotions bid of $326,500.

The contracts must be lodged at the World Boxing Council’s office in Mexico City by August 10.
