SecondsOut.com on Doghouse Boxing. German based welterweight Selcuk Aydin has warned Saturday’s opponent
Robert Guerrero that after Saturday night everyone will know who he is.
The unbeaten 28 year-old from Hamburg, Germany faces the American
former world champion at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California on
July 28 and has vowed to make a name for himself in the USA.
The pair clash for the WBC Interim welterweight title and Aydin
knows he is the underdog but has vowed to make a name for himself.
“Many see me as a longshot in the fight against Guerrero,” said
Aydin. “I’ve read that it would be a big surprise if I should win on
Saturday. But that’s only because people don’t know who I am and what I
can do. I’m Selcuk Aydin. I’m the world champion. I’m certainly no
underdog. And that I win on Saturday shouldn’t surprise anyone!
“After Saturday, everyone will know who Selcuk Aydin is!” added Aydin.
