By SecondsOut.com on Doghouse Boxing. In an all-new episode of “The Game 365,” which premieres tonight at 7:30 p.m. on MSG+, host Fran Healy sits down with Michael King, the founder of King World Productions, which popularized syndicated television programs such as “Wheel of Fortune” and “Jeopardy,” to talk about his new venture “All-American Heavyweights.” “AAH” is a new program designed to re-establish heavyweight boxing in the United States by recruiting, educating and training America’s young athletes who previously focused on other sports to become the next generation of amateur, Olympic and professional heavyweight boxers.

“We’re not saying that if you’re an All-American football player or basketball player, and you’re six-seven or six-eight, that you’re going to be a great boxer,” King tells Healy. “Our thinking is, what a great talent pool to work from.”

One of the program’s featured athletes, Dominic Breazeale, will represent the United States at the London Olympics starting Wednesday when he faces Magomed Omarov from the Russian Federation in the Super Heavyweight division. Breazeale, a former quarterback at Northern Colorado, talks to Healy in the episode about his transition from the football field to the boxing ring.

“Being a quarterback and working in the pocket was great (preparation),” Breazeale tells Healy. “In the ring, I’m always moving my feet and I’m never in the same position, and being able to be aware and alert about what is coming at me is a big help.”

The new episode also features an interview with Henry Tillman, a trainer at All-American Heavyweights and the 1984 Heavyweight Gold Medalist at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles – the last US boxer to take home a Gold Medal in the heavyweight division.
