By SecondsOut.com on Doghouse Boxing. After successfully defending his WBC flyweight silver title, Mexican Edgar Sosa is aiming for the outright version, which currently belongs to Japanese boxer Toshiyuki Igarashi.

 Edgar, who has just defeated, Shigetaka Ikehara says he’s in the best shape of his career and is ready to defeat anybody.

  “I want to become world champion again, and I hope I can soon get a shot at the title. I’m showing that I possess all of the necessary skills to fight for it.

  "Facing Japanese fighters is tough, because they are very fast. But with excellent and thorough preparation, I’m sure I can become world champion again, " declared Edgar.

  Sosa, who’s a former WBC Light flyweight champion, wants to become world champion at flyweight. Sosa added: : “I think one of my best qualities is my determination, involving my single minded willpower to become world champion once again."
