By SecondsOut.com on Doghouse Boxing. The Boxing management of unbeaten South African super-middleweight Tommy Oosthuizen have turned down a clash with Britain’s Carl Froch in Favor of building his career in the USA.

  It was widely reported that Oothuizen,21-0, was to have been the first title defence for IBF champion Froch but his manager Brian Mitchell has decided build up his boxer’s reputation in the US.

  "We’ve turned down that fight," Oosthuizen’s manager Brian Mitchell told Sowetanlive.co.za with regard to a clash with Froch.

  "It is proper that Lou DiBella will feature him on Shobox. The American boxing public just loves Tommy."
