If you put some of the most talented people together you get what will happen on Saturday, August 11th at Plattduetsche Park Restaurant in Franklin Square, Long Island, an afternoon and evening of incredible entertainment.

Starting at 4 PM renowned playwright, Bobby Cassidy Jr.’s highly acclaimed play, “Kid Shamrock,” about his Dad, the former top middleweight and light-heavyweight contender of the 1960’s and 70’s, Bobby Cassidy Sr., followed by an exciting boxing card promoted by Bob Duffy and his Ring Promotions and David Schuster’s Winner Take All Promotions.

The event is planned to be outdoors, but the weatherman said there might be some rain, so according to Mr. Duffy, “We rented a 60’X120’ tent, so rain or shine this will happen. Come out for a great day of boxing in the ring and on the stage. We are expecting a sold out crowd and the boxing media has been very positive about this very special event.”

The play will feature some familiar faces with Cassidy Sr., John Duddy, Seamus McDonagh, Patrick Connally, Mark Breland, Mark McPherson, Junior Jones, and straight from the Sopranos and Casino, Vinny Vella. “Kid Shamrock” is directed by former WBO Heavyweight Champion, and accomplished actor, Michael Bentt.

After the play which will begin at 4 PM, there will be an exciting nine fight boxing show starting at 5:30 PM with popular Long Island lightweight Mike Brooks, undefeated at 7-0 (2 KOs), in the main event, and in the featured fight, power punching, unbeaten cruiserweight prospect, Santander Silgado, 21-0 (18 KOs), plus a championship lady’s match for the vacant (WIBA) Women’s International Boxing Association International lightweight title with Cindy Serrano facing Kerri Hill for the belt.

All seats priced at a very affordable $40.00 each .
