Promoter Bob Arum had indicated that a short list of three had been suggested including Mexican foe Juan Manuel Marquez but according to Pacquiao’s legal advisor Franklin Gacal it now looks like Bradley is the man in the frame.

Speaking to the Philippine Star Gacal said: “I think it’s Bradley. There’s a score to settle with Bradley.”

Facing Bradley next makes perfect sense for the most famous sports star in the Philippines. When the pair first met back in June, Bradley was awarded a highly controversial 12 round decision and ‘Pac Man’ has been desperate for the rematch ever since.
