Jamie McDonnell vs. Vusi Malinga is set to take place on the undercard of the Kell Brook vs Hector Salvidia IBF welterweight title eliminator at the Motorpoint Arena.

Malinga, a South African southpaw lost out to Hozumi Hasegawa and Leo Santa Cruz in recent world title challenges.

McDonnell vacated his European 118lbs title to focus on a crack at the world title.
