Coyote's Boxing Prediction for Oscar De La Hoya vs. Manny Pacquiao
By Coyote Duran, DoghouseBoxing.com (Dec 6, 2008)
The Dream Match. The closer it comes, the more difficult is is to believe it's actually coming off. And to think these two characters actually pulled off weight with no issue. Well, at least De La Hoya did; which is no small feat in itself.

Will the long stretch in making 147 take its toll on 'The Golden Boy'? Perhaps not so much as the sustained attack of Manny Pacquiao. What Pac needs to concentrate on is Oscar's tendency to lag in the
championship rounds and take the early heats; then stretch for a bit by boxing until around the seventh. Once round eight rolls around, Pacquiao should turn up the energy and work that jab, taking away Oscar's own.

If 'Pac-Man' follows that plan while making a good effort to erode the body while keeping up his right, he can take this fight to the end and still walk away the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world.

My Prediction:

Pacquiao UD 12 De La Hoya.
