Rising Star Daniel Jacobs Breaks Down Miguel Cotto vs Antonio Margarito

Last week, I had the pleasure of finally sitting down and talking on the phone with up and coming prospect Daniel Jacobs. Fight fans, if you haven’t seen Jacobs yet, you’re in for a treat. The young man can box, he can punch, and he fights like they’ll fire him if he goes the distance.

Mr. Jacobs (7-0 with KO’s) fights tonight on the under card of ESPN’s Wednesday Night Fights against Sergio Rios (18-8 with 16 KOs) at the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa in Cabazon, CA.

A full interview is forthcoming covering Mr. Jacobs beginnings, his goings, and thoughts about ring warfare. For now, here are his thoughts on this weekend’s much-anticipated showdown between Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito...

“I think if it’s by knockout, I believe Cotto will get knocked out. If it’s by decision, I believe Miguel Cotto will win by decision. My expectation of the fight is Cotto by decision. Not Split Decision but by Majority Decision.”
