The proposed WBC lightweight title fight between Joel Casamayor and now former Champion Diego Corrales is on but the title fight is bit one sided now.

Corrales, who vacated his title on the scales, cannot fight for the belt. Only Casamayor can. Corrales weighed in at 139.5 earlier today. Four and half pounds over the lightweight limit.

He was given two hours to lose no more than two pounds according to Nevada State Commission rules. He
returned and weighed in at 139, only losing a mere half-pound.

Officials huddled to find a solution and the fight will now proceed. The Nevada State Athletic Commission fined Corrales $240,000, $120,000 of which goes to Casamayor.
