Yesterday at the historical Cincinnati Gardens in Cincinnati, OH, the official press conference for “The Return” of the former world heavyweight champion Lamon Brewster 33-4 (29) was held.  Brewster who returns this Saturday will be taking on battle tested Danny Batchelder 25-5-1 (12) in a scheduled twelve round heavyweight bout for the vacant NABA heavyweight title.

Doghouse Boxing was on hand for the press festivities which had a slew of hometown fighters which include Aaron Pryor Jr., Rashad Holloway and David Long as well as others who will participating on the first fight to hit The Gardens since 2002.

Brewster, who is coming off back to back losses is no doubt looking to get back in the win column, and now after time off to recover and rejuvenate the former champ strongly demanded to the media in attendance, “Ya’ll know I come to fight!”

Brewster who is now teamed back with former trainer Saheed Suluki looks to be in great shape for the bout and his trainer Suluki stated, “I am strictly old school, so you know we worked hard f or this fight”.

Also in attendance for the press conference was the former great light welterweight champion Aaron Pryor Sr., whose son Aaron Pryor Jr. 10-0 (7) will be battling on the under card come fight night. All though Jr. is the son of a living legend, all he had to humbly say was, “I am blessed to be back home”.

Batchelder was not present at the press conference due to a late flight in, but sources close to the Doghouse say that he is ready to upset Brewster come the night of the fight.
