Bradley returns home in this bout against Campbell, and couldn’t be more excited about his homecoming clash against the former unified lightweight champion. In part two of this exclusive interview conducted by Doghouse Boxing, Bradley continues his thoughts on the upcoming bout as well as his thoughts on his upcoming opponent Nate Campbell, enjoy.

Benny Henderson Jr.: Nate Campbell is coming to your turf to fight you, you have fought on your opponent’s turf before, and the old saying is that you have to knock them out to get a draw. Do you feel that Nate coming to your backyard and being a power puncher may be thinking that he will have to knock you out, may try to storm you and try overpowering and overwhelming you to get the win?

Timothy Bradley:
I think Nate’s plan is to come in there and try to dog me out, and give me something that I have never seen before. All Nate is going to do is come in there and try to throw my game in my face that is all he is going to try to do. That is the only chance he has to beat me, I am ready for it. Nate is going to try to come out and storm me like he did Juan Diaz, come out and throw all kinds of punches and his best punches early and try to get me out of there.

BH: It is already in the books, you beat Kendall Holt, and it was a pretty good fight. Your thoughts on the fight, the outcome and aftermath.

TB:
I learned a lot in that fight, Kendall Holt is another hard puncher in the division, I think he is one of the hardest punchers in the division. Great speed tall, strong, he was a very dangerous opponent. But I felt that my work rate, along with me being a better boxer than he is, I felt that I wanted it more than him. Being knocked down in the firs t round, he thought he had me, but like I said I was determined and God was with me in that ring. I got up off the canvas, composed myself and went back to the game plan. I learned a lot with the trash talking, I believe that God does things for a reason, there was a reason that I fought Kendall Holt, with all the trash talking to get me ready for Nate Campbell. Nate Campbell is a good talker, so I know to ignore it and wait until we get into the ring and do the talking with the fists. Nate cannot get me off my game plan; I have been there and done that now with Kendall Holt.

BH: If you could send out a message to Nate Campbell before this fight what would it be?

TB:
Bring it, bring it on, I am not going to lay down for anybody, bring it; I want him to bring it. I want Nate to bring everything he can possibly bring to the fight. I want it to be an exciting fight for the fans. Bring it man that is basically what I want to tell him, bring it. Don’t underestimate me and bring you’re A game.
