Kevin Aguilar
Coming up this Friday night, the Lone Star state is going to heat up, as the undefeated Kevin Aguilar 6-0 (5) goes head to head against the tough veteran, Nick Gonzalez 18-11 in a three round throw down for LFC 17 in San Antonio, TX. Aguilar, who goes by the nickname, The Angel of Death, is a hard hitting twenty-four year old member of Longview’s Team 515, who has stopped all that he has faced in his short career. Six by knockout, and one via submission, Aguilar has proven to be a well rounded MMA fighter. Kevin will be taking on the twenty-nine fight veteran, Nick Gonzalez, who all though has more experience than Aguilar, will have his hands full when the bell rings.

In this exclusive interview, Doghouse Boxing, gets the thoughts from the young gun, speaking out on his upcoming bout, his talents, future, and more, enjoy.

Benny Henderson Jr.
You have the fight coming up this Friday night against Nick Gonzalez, give the readers your thoughts on the upcoming bout.

Kevin Aguilar
It is my time, it is an opportunity to go in there and show everybody, that this is not just a small town group of guys who are not going to make it anywhere. it is my time to show up and show everybody that I need to be put on the map. Everybody needs to realize that these guys here in Texas are here to fight.

BH
What can you tell us about your upcoming opponent Nick Gonzalez?

KA
I really do not know much about him, I know he has a pretty good record, a pretty good fighter, a veteran in the sport, and a pretty good athlete from what I hear. I am ready to get in there and throw down with him.

BH
How do you prepare, not only mentally, but physically for a fighter that you really know nothing about?

KA
Just my normal training circuit, my cardio is excellent, and I train with some of the best boxing and MMA guys around. I know that my game is going to be better than his.

BH
Looking at yourself, who do you feel are your greatest qualities as a fighter?

KA
That is the beauty about me, I am a well rounded fighter, I am good anywhere. I can take you to the ground and submit you, or knock you out standing up, or TKO you with my ground and pound.

BH
What can the fight fans expect from you come fight night?

KA
They can expect me to go in there and put pressure on him, take him down, and probably TKO on him. And that is what I plan to do, go in there and pressure him,and let him know that he cannot beat me on my feet. take him down and finish him off. I never let it go to the judges.

BH
If you could send a message out to your upcoming opponent, what would that message be?

KA
Good luck man, you better bring your A game, because you are going to need it.

BH
Anything in closing?

KA
To the fight world, Kevin Aguilar, The Angel of Death is coming! So be ready, and to the fans, thank you for supporting me, everybody who is in my corner, everybody who has helped me get ready for this fight. My sponsors, thank you all, and I will not let you down.
