Tonight live on HBO 9:45 PM ET/6:45 PM PT, all the way from Coliseo Roberto Clemente Colisuem in San Juan, Puerto Rico, four ring warriors take center stage in a double dose of squared squabbling that should be a entertaining slugfest!

In the main event the hard hitting undefeated WBA Welterweight champion Miguel Cotto 28-0 (23 KO’s) puts his strap on the line against the ring veteran Oktay Urkal 38-3 (12 KO’s) in a scheduled twelve round 147-pound clash.

The power punching Puerto Rican has wreaked havoc on his foe delivering disaster to all that has crossed his path, and tonight the tough German and eleven year veteran Urkal attempts to disrupt Cotto’s reign.

HBO’s opener brings a new meaning to the word bad blood when the undefeated Allan Green 23-0 (16 KO’s) takes a swing at his toughest test thus far in his career when he stares down the hard hitting Columbian Edison Miranda 27-1 (24 KO’s) in a super middleweight showdown. Who takes home the W and which one has to swallows defeat?

Doghouse Decides!

Miguel Cotto vs. Oktay Urkal

Coyote Duran
Want to know how Oktay Urkal got a shot at Miguel Cotto for Cotto’s WBA welterweight trinket? He last beat a guy named Robert Cristea who, at the time, had a one-win, nine-loss record. Got to love that WBA, man…No, I’m just kidding. They f__king blow. Anyhow, with Urkal’s super-duper, title shot-earning battle over the very worthy Cristea (Scoff, scoff!), he steps into the ring this coming Saturday against Cotto. >Sigh…<…Cotto TKO 6 Urkal. I’m sorry, Howlers. I don’t see any ‘expert’ approach for sussing this one.

Miguel Cotto is on an all time high, coming off a knockout of the undefeated Carlos Quintana for a welterweight title. Oktay Urkal is looking for redemption in a new division, after heartbreaking losses to Vivian Harris and legendary Kostya Tszyu. Cotto should win the fight but it will not be easy, Urkal is a veteran and excellent technician.

Matthew DeGonzaque
Cotto vs. Urkal-this is just a pit stop for Cotto to look good for his future fight against Zab Judah. Urkal is a good fighter, but he isn’t anywhere near Cotto’s league. Cotto wins by knock out in the mid rounds.

First of all, how the hell did Urkal end up as the #1 ranked welterweight in the world according to the fools at the WBA? Surely beating the 2-4-1 Andrei Rimer and 1-9 Robert Cristea in his only fights in 2006 isn't enough, is it? Pathetic. At 37 years of age Urkal has the near impossible task of beating the undefeated Cotto in Cotto's backyard. It's not happening, Cotto should end this fight early. Urkal is older, slower and has no power. Cotto TKO 4.

Urkal is a solid opponent who fared pretty well against the likes of Kostya Tszyu and Vivian Harris.  His best chance is to control the distance and use his jab.  He just doesn't have the power or overall speed to keep the unrelenting Cotto off of him for more than a couple of rounds.  Cotto will walk him down throughout the fight and dominate to the body.  I think this one could go the distance but it's more likely that Urkal will fold under the pressure around the 10th round.  Let's just hope Cotto isn't looking past this to the Judah fight.

Danny Serratelli
Cotto by late stoppage or unanimous decision.

Dan Horgan
The fact that this is fight is even taking place is an absolute joke.  Urkal, never anything more than a European champion throughout his career, is already well past his prime.  I expect Cotto to blow him out. Cotto KO 4

Unless Cotto is just over looking Urkal, which I think he is not. I see Cotto putting the pain to Oktay, stopping the German within six rounds.
