Donovan George bombs down another foe

This past Saturday night as the world tuned in to witness the farewell fight of the Mexican great Eric Morales, many Illinoisans filled the Allstate Arena to support their hometown star, the undefeated power punching prospect Donovan ‘Da Bomb’ George 15-0-1 (13), who no doubt did not disappoint the ringside spectators as he roared and ripped through his adversary Shay Mobley 16-9-1 (7) in three rounds.
George, a twenty-two year old hot prospect who has devoured all in his pathway thus far, came into this bout with the intention to continue the domination against his cross town rival, the twenty-five fight veteran Shay Mobley, who had
some strong words towards George before the go around. The only lip service in the throw down was the leather Mobley continuously tasted as George so eagerly offered it out to this foe.
From round one it was clear the much stronger, faster more aggressive George meant business as he took the fight to his cross town rival landing precise right hands that had Mobley on the receiving end of pain. Although Mobley was a game combatant coming into this bout and tried his best to catch George, his looping punches were countered with short right hands that took its toll on Mobley.
In the middle of the third round George stung Mobley with an explosive right hand that had Mobley on the ropes, as George pounced on Mobley to continue the assault, the ref jumped in and gave Mobley a standing eight count.
As the fight went back into action a wholehearted Mobley who tried to keep his balance was met with seemingly endless punishing combinations from George, which promoted referee Gerald Scott to mercifully call a halt to the action at 2:23 in the third round, giving George his eight consecutive knock out victory.
