Business Report - Why Oscar and Floyd makes Money Sense
By Johnny Benz (June 28, 2006)
First word...Money. From any business stance, no matter what the money cost, Oscar and Floyd make the financial risk obsolete. The millions that would ensue from a fight like this would be ample profits enough to line everyone's pockets with money. It's not a gamble, as there is no financial risk in this one....it's the sure thing.

If Oscar was looking for a good retirement plan...facing Floyd Mayweather Jr in one last hurrah would not only be a great way to seal his legacy... but the financial pay out would amount to a massive amounts of cash. The kind of money that was unheard of before Oscar broke on the scene and changed the Market and it's value.

The only thing stopping this cash cow from feeding, is Oscar De La Hoya. Facing the idea of retirement and the possibility of one last mega money making fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr... Oscar maybe rich, but he is certainly not stupid. Sure, he has more than enough cash and investments to carry him on... but the money involved in a retirement match with Floyd would be huge and not even De La Hoya would have it easy ignoring the cash profits to be made.

I am not a betting man, but I am willing to bet this is a for sure thing.... Oscar will fight Floyd. He won't retire before that. The money is too great for anyone, including Oscar to ignore.

The more Oscar plays the role of "will I, or won't I" with the media.... you know that's more Hype he is just putting into the Nest Egg. And that's what you call... "Money in the Bank." Cha-Ching!
