Promoter Bob Arum as usual is extremely busy these days. If Arum's plans go the way he likes, then he will have his fighter Manny Pacquiao take on Oscar De La Hoya this coming December 6th. However Arum is not willing to place all his time on just De La Hoya. A Fight with De La Hoya is what Arum considers "Plan A", and if "Plan A" fails to materialize, then Arum and Pacquiao have discussed a "Plan B and C".

Recently quoted on the Manila Bulletin, Arum confirmed that his and Pacquiao's "Plan A" is a fight with De La Hoya. However if that fails then either Humberto Soto or Edwin Valero for "Plans B and C."

Arum stated to the publication: "I spent quite some time with Manny today. Soto and Valero are Plans B and C. If the De La Hoya fight doesn't happen, we will talk about Soto or Valero."
