According to a report out by Dan Rafael of ESPN.com, Ike Quartey is coming out of retirement again. Quartey has not fought since December 2006 when he lost a decision to Winky Wright.

According to promoter Lou DiBella who represents Quartey, Quartey's comeback is set to take place this coming December in South Africa. DiBella tells ESPN that he's been negotiating a fight with South African promoter Branco Milenkovic, on a card scheduled for December 5.

In regards to Quartey's fight plans, DiBella stated: "Ike wants to fight and Branco and I have been working out the details. We'll be speaking again on Friday."

DiBella has also been in talks with Oscar De La Hoya's Promotional company as well as Bob Arum's Top Rank. "I've had some conversations with Top Rank and Golden Boy about maybe doing something with them. Once Ike is back with a 'W,' I'll talk to them about what fights we can do together that make sense," said DiBella.
