Anyone of the 3 triple headers could main event at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, PA, Friday night over NBC Sports Net Fight Night as Peltz Boxing and Main Events returns to the Lehigh Valley! There will be 52 rounds in 7 fights as J. Russell Peltz, Jolene Mizzone and Brittany Rogers serve as matchmakers.

Sergey Kovalev, 20-0-1 (18), of Chelyabinsk, Russia now living in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, has won 8 of his last 9 fights by knockout (1 TD). This light heavyweight 12 round bout also features Houston, TX, Cornelius “Da Beast” White, 21-1 (16), who won the IBF International title in 2012 defeating Russian Dmitry Sukhotsky, then 18-1. The winner is to be put in the No. 1 contender spot in the IBF. Kovalev is No. 4 and White No. 5 for Bernard Hopkins title. White is the No. 2 contender in the WBO.

In an important heavyweight match-up Philadelphia’s Bryant “By By” Jennings, 16-0 (8), the No. 3 IBF contender returns after 6 months of inactivity to face Andrey Fedosov, 24-2 (19), of Shuya, Russia, living in Hollywood, CA., in a 10 round bout. Though not in a hurry with limited amateur experience Jennings knows defeating one of the Klitschko brothers for the title means much more than winning a vacant title or any other fighter. His trainer Fred Jenkins was inducted into the PA HOF last month. Fedosov has been a winner in 18 of his last 19 bouts.

In the third of the triple header local Bethlehem boxer Ronald Cruz, 17-1 (12) returns to the ring since his only defeat in September of 2012 to face Ray “Emperor” Nahr, 25-2 (21), of Ghana, now living in the Bronx, NY, in a 10 round welterweight match-up. A hernia operation slowed down the return of Cruz. The hard hitting Nahr is returning after a 2 year lay-off.

The undercard has a 3 locals including southpaw Jerome Rodriguez, 3-0-1 (1), of Allentown, PA, winner of his last 3 bouts after drawing with Hassan Young who is also on the card. Rodriguez will face southpaw Treysean Wiggins, 3-0 (3), of Newburgh, NY, who is returning after over a year . He holds a knockout over Jason Sosa who is one of the area’s hottest prospects. This is a 6 round light welterweight bout. Young, 2-1-1 (1), of Philadelphia will face Dominican Ariel Duran, 7-4-1 (4), of Queens, NY, in another 6 round light welterweight match.

In a pair of 4 round bouts the 2012 National GG champion southpaw Arturo Trujillo, of Easton, PA, and Anthony Watson of Philadelphia debut in the light middleweight division. Bill Marks of Allentown, PA, debuts against Randy Easton, 0-1-1 (0), of Williamsport, PA, in the heavyweight division.

Doors open at 6 with first fight at 6:30 and the first televised fight at 8pm.
