In the fourth James followed the jabs with rights to the chin of Balasi who couldn’t get away from the jab. In the fifth James landed a five punch combination. In the sixth it was Balasi landing a four punch combination. Balasi never stopped trying though James continued to outland him. In the seventh after taking a pair of jabs Balasi knocked the head of James back with a counter left. In the eighth and final round James continued boxing well as Balasi showed the worse for wear with a swollen face but had the heart of a lion.

Super middleweight Caleb “Sweet Hands” Plant, 8-0 (7), of Ashland City, TN, knocked out Juan Carlos Rojas, 10-11-1 (8) at 1:03 of the fourth round in a scheduled 6.

Plant completely dominated Rojas in the first round landing well and slipping punches. In the second round Plant rocked Rojas with a left hook to the chin. In the second Plant completely had Rojas frustrated causing Rojas to use dirty tactics when he tied up Plant including hitting him low. Plant hurt Rojas several times. A solid left hook knocked out the mouthpiece of Rojas. In the fourth Plant caught Rojas coming in and knocked him down with a left hook to the chin. Rojas tried to beat the count of referee Rosato but didn’t.

Welterweight classy southpaw Alex “Chi-Heat” Martin, 8-0 (5), of Harvey, IL, Jeremiah “Bounty Hunter” Wiggins, 10-4-1 (5), of Newport News, VA, 6 rounds Former National Amateur champion Martin boxed circles around Wiggins the first three rounds frustrating the latter. Super lightweight southpaw Christian Molina, 4-1 (3), of Allentown, PA, lost to Justin Johnson, 7-8 (0), of Pittsburgh, PA, over 6 well fought rounds.

Molina forced the action out of an awkward style while the light hitting Johnson gave Molina a boxing lesson in most of the rounds. Molina suffered a bloody nose.
