J. Russell Peltz (Peltz Boxing) and Brittany Rogers (BAM Boxing) bring Bethlehem’s Ronald Cruz, 19-2 (14) to the Sands in Bethlehem, PA, for the third time since August and he’s looking for his third straight knockout since dropping back to back fights. Cruz will face Hector “The Hurricane” Muniz, 22-11-1 (14), of Albuquerque, N.M, who is coming off defeating Hector Camacho, Jr., then 57-5-1, in his last start in September.

Peltz and Rogers also do the matchmaking and will have 7 other bouts including Allentown’s Jerome Rodriguez, 6-0-1 (2), in his biggest fight to date against Darnell Jiles, Jr., 9-3-1 (3), of Rochester, NY, while Easton’s Arturo Trujillo, 3-0 (1), takes on Pablo Sanchez, 1-0 (1), of Greenwood, IN.

In the 8 round super featherweight division co-feature “red hot” Jason Sosa, 10-1-3 (6), of Camden, NJ, is riding a 5 fight knockout streak and unbeaten in his last 9 fights (7-0-2). It will be his third fight at the Sands. His opponent Chazz McDowell, 6-3-1 (1), of Yonkers, NY, is coming off a draw with 7-0 Amos Cowart.

The trainer and co-manager (along with Adrienne Soto) of Sosa, Chino Rivas will also be in the corner of his son Nathaniel Rivas, 1-0 (1), against debuting Johnathan Williams, of Allentown in the light welter division. Philly’s Terrell James, 1-1 who gave Trujillio a good fight on the last Sands card will meet Carlos Moore, 0-1, of VA Beach, VA, at light welter and two debuting welter’s Ismael Serrano, of Bethlehem and Jean Hernandez, of the Bronx, NY.

First bout is at 7PM and you know Peltz/BAM shows start on time!
