Dusty Hernandez-Harris
Dusty Hernandez-Harrison
WBC Youth welterweight champion

Edgar “El Chamaco” Santana, 28-4 (19), of New York City and Michael Clark, 44-8-1 (18), of Columbus, OH, fight over 10 rounds for the vacant NABA light welterweight title at the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino in Dover, DE, Friday night.

Santana has won 7 of his last 8 fights, 6 by knockout. His last 4 fights have been at Dover Downs winning 3 of them and losing when fighting for the same title. Since then his conqueror Manuel Perez hasn’t defended the title since July of 2012 so it has been vacated.

Clark has held the WBC Youth, WBC Continental Americas, state of OH, IBC and NABF titles. In his last fight he defeated Brian Camechis, then 20-4 for the interim USNBC title.

Wilmington’s Omar “Super O” Douglas, 10-0 (8), will be stepping up to 10 rounds for the first time when he faces Jean Javier Sotelo, 18-11-2 (9), of Bogota, COL, for the vacant NABA USA super featherweight title. Douglas has fought all but one of his fights at Dover Downs and is on a 5 straight knockout streak and is considered by many to be DE’s future champion! Sotelo is a former WBC FECARBOX champion.

Less than 3 weeks ago newly crowned WBC Youth welterweight champion Dusty Hernandez-Harrison, 18-0 (10), is returning to Dover Downs for the third time and is ranked No. 21 in the WBC ratings. He will meet Marlon Lewis, 6-2-2 (3), of Memphis, TN, unbeaten in his last 4 fights including a draw. This is scheduled for 8. Smyrna super middleweight Mike Tiberi, 20-1 (7), puts his 14 fight winning streak on the line returning to action for the first time in over a year with an opponent to be named. Tiberi has won his last 7 fights at Dover Downs and 3 before that. Cruiserweight Alex Guerrero, 9-0-1 (5), of Salisbury, MD, meets southpaw Galen “Bad Boy” Brown, 41-23-1 (24), of St. Joseph’s, MO, over 6 rounds.

Dover’s John “Church Boy” Bowman, 7-0-1 (1), meets Jesse “Thunder” Noriega, 2-7 (2), of Lynchburg, VA, in a 4 round super middleweight match-up. Cruiser Lamont “the Problem Solver” Singletary, 6-0 (3), takes on Travis Reeves, 2-2 (0), of Baltimore, MD, over 4 rounds.

First fight at 7:30 per Lisa Rollins of Dover Downs Hotel & Casino.
