Unbeatan Ran Nakash Headlines Comcast’s Return to Philly Boxing

Israel’s cruiserweight Ran Nakash, 24-0 (18), is 10-0 at the legendary Blue Horizon but since there’s a padlock on the door he will be fighting Victor Barragan, 11-5 (3), of Oxnard, CA, Wednesday night at South Philly’s Arena over US Comast SportsNet.

In an eight round semi-windup Dominican Republic’s Olympic Gold medalist Felix Diaz, 5-0 (3), who has fought in four different countries in his five bouts. This will be a battle of southpaws when he goes up against Broderick Antoine, 10-10-1 (5), of Troy, NY, who has only been stopped once. Antoine will have about six inches of height on Diaz.

There will be three promoters putting this show on with GT & KP Promotion, German Titov Boxing Promotion and No Limits Promotions. Philly’s Don Elbaum who has placed Nakash in almost every one of his fights will be doing the matchmaking.

There are forty-eight rounds of boxing schedule as of Monday of this week. Elbaum is bringing them in from all over the world. There will be two Russians featuring Maks Limonov, 12-0 (8), against Julius Fogle, 15-5 (10), of Cary, NC, and a former outstanding amateur in a middleweight six. Russian Rustam Nabeev, 5-0 (0) takes on Alejandro Solorio, 3-2 (3), of Huntington Park, CA, in a super flyweight four.

From the Ukraine will be Vyacheslav Glazkov, 5-0 (3), against the always exciting Mark “Oaktree” Brown, 15-3 (7), of Salem, NJ, in a heavyweight 6. Besides Nakash being from Israel there will be Oz Goldenburg, 1-0 (0) against debuting Mike Latorre of Scranton, PA, in a lightweight four. From Lithuania is Donatas Bondarevas, 7-1-1 (2), a middleweight will be in a six with an opponent TBA.

In addition there will be two heavyweight fights featuring William Miranda, 1-0 (0), of Allentown taking on debuting Carmen Marrero of Reading and Philly’s Imani Bell debuts against Lee Thomas, 1-3 (0), of Saginaw, MI.
