Star Boxing Back in Bally’s Atlantic City Friday!

Star Boxing returns to Bally’s Park Place Hotel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey this Friday, November 7th. WBA #5 heavyweight contender Kevin “Kingpin” Johnson, 20-0-1 (7), continues his unbeaten quest for the title against knockout artist Matthew Greer, 12-3 (11).

The co-feature main event is a top notch welterweight battle between Atlantic City’s Shamone Alvarez, 19-1 (11), coming off a 10 month lay-off after losing for the 1st time against now WBA champion
Joshua Clottey in an eliminator bout over 12 rounds. His opponent is former Olympic medalist Terrance “Heat” Cauthen, 33-4 (9), of Trenton, who was also on the losing end of an eliminator but for the light middleweight eliminator with Sechell Powell. He returned to the welter division beating previously unbeaten Alexis Camacho, 16-1 (15), in his last bout.

Former WBA heavyweight champion Bruce “The Atlantic City Express” Seldon, 38-7 (34), will fight Brad Gregory, 11-1 (9), and Curtis “Showtime” Stevens, 18-2 (13), will fight Ray Smith, 8-2 (2), in 8 round bouts. Unbeaten Philly prospect Ray Serrano, 7-0 (5), in a 6 round bout and two Atlantic City’s boxers, Qa’id Muhammad, 3-0 (3), Olympic alternate and Lavarn “Baby Bowe” Harvell, 1-0 (1), in 4 round bouts fill out the undercard.
