What was supposed to be Garrett “Ultimate Warrior” Wilson, 15-9-1 (9), and Tony “Boom Boom” Ferrante for the PA cruiserweight title has been replaced with Wilson against heavyweight Pedro Martinez, 7-8 (3), in the 8 round main event at the Sheet Metal Workers Hall, 1301 S. Christopher Columbus Blvd., South Philadelphia Friday night called “Mischief Mayhem!” Doors open at 6:30 and first bout at 7pm.

Both Philly boxers were in attendance Saturday at a press conference held by Hard Hitting Promotions at the Holiday Inn’s “Stadium”. Wilson and Martinez entertained everyone claiming the “friendship” stops when they enter the ring. It’s business. Martinez returns to the ring after a 13 month layoff but has been in training in substituting for Ferrante who was injured in an auto accident. Wilson has been in with heavyweights like an Olympian from PR to a now No. 1 IBF contender so it’s nothing new to him.

Another big attraction is the return of Philly favorite Angel Luis Ocasio, 7-0-2 (2), of Philly after a 34 month layoff when he stole the show knocking out Estaban Rodriguez. He is not pitted in easy with Vineland’s Bryne Green, 7-8-1 (3), scheduled for 6 rounds in the super Lightweight division.

Dominican Marcos Leonardo “El Tigre” Jimenez, 20-6 (13), fighting out of PR meets Rafael Reyes, 6-3 (5), of Reynosa, MEX, in an 8 round lightweight bout. Making his Philly debut is popular Thomas “TJ” Velasquez, 1-0 (1), who made his debut in NYC on a championship card taking on Jose A. Carmona, 0-2 of PR in a 4 round super featherweight match. Three other bouts are scheduled.
