Retired two division champion at 147 and 154 Floyd Mayweather is now crying from outside the ring saying “they want their Superstar to be Caucasian!” Who exactly is “they”?

Is he playing the “race card?”

Has anyone noticed for the past 9 years Wladimir Klitschko has held the three belts in the heavyweight division? He is Caucasian. Have you seen the latest champions at cruiserweight WBC Grigory Drozd, WBA Denis Lebedev, IBF Victor Ramirez and WBA Krzystof Glowaki are all Caucasian?

How about Sergey Kovalev holding the WBA, WBO and IBF titles at light heavyweight? The WBO super middleweight champion is Arthur Abraham. Andre Ward holds the WBA super middleweight title that he hasn’t defended since November of 2013. He last defended the WBC title in September of 2012. In June of 2013 he was stripped of his WBC title he hadn’t defended after 9 months. His interim WBA champion is Fedor Chudinov and 12 of his 15 contenders are Caucasian. His WBC belt held now by Badou Jack was a gift decision when Caucasian George Groves beat him but was robbed.

At middleweight Gennady “GGG” Golovkin holds the WBA, IBF and interim WBC titles and was willing to drop to super welterweight to fight Mayweather who rejected the fight. Andy Lee has the WBO and Miguel Cotto the WBC titles. Once again all Caucasian. At super welterweight 3 of the 4 titles are vacant since Mayweather’s retiring 2 of them. At super lightweight 2 newly crowned champions are Viktor Postal of the WBC and Eduard Troyanovsky of the IBF who defeated Cesar Cuenca 48-0.

At lightweight there is Jorge Linares of WBC and Terry Flanagan the WBO with the IBF vacant. At super featherweight you have Takashi Miura of WBC, Takashi Uchiyama of WBA, Jose Pedraz of IBF and Roman Martinez of WBO. At featherweight there is Leo Santa Cruz of WBA, Lee Selby of IBF and Vasyl Lomachenko of the WBO who may be a future super star. All mentioned are Caucasian.

My point is there are plenty of Caucasian champions and were when Mayweather retired at 49-0 equaling Rocky Marciano’s record. There were 4 boxers that passed 49-0 but lost and 3 of the 4 were Caucasian. There was 1 fighter who tied the record at 49-0 before losing and he was Caucasian. There is no shortage of Caucasian boxers!

Why does Floyd Mayweather have to play the “race card!” Even though he has retired he now has to join Larry “the Easton Assassin” Holmes and Bernard “the Alien” Hopkins all complaining “we get no respect!” Mayweather was a solid favorite over Manny Pacquaio so what’s the big deal? Though possibly injured prior to the fight it’s doubtful he was beating Mayweather if he was healthy.

On Veterans Day being a Veteran I wore my “Does My American Flag Offend You? Call 1-800-LEAVE-THE-USA” shirt! That goes for all living in this country including the 30 million illegals! Even Don King holds a pair of American flags and says “Only in America!”
