Juan Manuel Marquez who faces Floyd Mayweather Jr. on September 19th, strongly believes that he has won both his fights against Manny Pacquiao. In a statement sent to us here at Doghouse Boxing, Marquez had this to say about his two fights with Pacquiao, "I feel that I beat him both times."
In the first fight, Marquez believes he won the close fight. "The first one was very close and I felt that I pulled it off. It was called a draw," stated Marquez.
In regards to their second fight, Marquez strongly believes he won that fight, and can't understand how the judges did not agree. "The second fight, I felt that I clearly beat him. I clearly beat him and I should have been on top on the points but for whatever reason, the judges - they saw a different fight that night."
Floyd Mayweather vs. Juan Manuel Marquez: "Number One/Numero Uno," the 12-round bout will take place Saturday, September 19 live on HBO Pay-Per-View beginning at 9pm ET/6pm PT.
