No one can deny that Oscar De La Hoya didn't have an incredible career inside the ring. During his time in the ring, De La Hoya has faced some of the greatest names to lace up the gloves. Including such greats as Pernell Whitaker, Julio Ceasar Chavez, Tito Trinidad, Bernard Hopkins and Floyd Mayweather Jr. just to name a few.

So out of all the fighters De La Hoya has faced, who had the fastest hands? De La Hoya who has faced guys such as Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Shane Mosley, both known for blistering handspeed, did not pick either fighter as having the fastest hands... instead De La Hoya picked everyone's favorite Filipino fighter, Manny Pacquiao.

De La Hoya tells Ring Magazine that the quickest hands he has faced goes to Manny Pacquiao.

Quoted recently by Ring Magazine, De La Hoya explained why he credits Pacquiao with having the quickest hands he has ever faced: "His punches (Pacquiao) don’t come from your basic boxing style," stated De La Hoya, adding: "they come from all sorts of weird angles. That’s what makes him difficult."
